Glass Blowing

GLASS BLOWING

During my time at Columbus College of Art and Design, I discovered a new passion for the art of glass blowing. Taking an introductory class in 2022, I was immediately drawn to the challenge of working with this delicate and unpredictable medium. As I experimented with different techniques and forms, I found that glass blowing forced me to embrace change and accept the outcome, even if it differed from my initial vision. This process of adaptation and evolution has since become an integral part of my design practice.

In particular, I have found that working with glass has allowed me to explore my creativity in new and exciting ways. The material’s unique properties and endless possibilities have inspired me to push my boundaries as a designer, and to develop a more nuanced understanding of form, color, and texture.

One of my pieces, C2201, was even selected to be displayed at the 2022 CHROMA Show at the Columbus College of Art and Design. If you are interested in purchasing one of my glass pieces, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we can discuss pricing and options.
